REVIEW. IMPECCABLE ARTISTRY: MEMBERS’ DINNER AT PER SE.
NEW YORY CITY, NEW YORK, USA.
An impeccable seven-course tasting menu, including “oysters and pearls” – one of celebrated chef Thomas Keller’s signature dishes –, pan-roasted scallops, Liberty Farm Pekin duck as well as a triple chocolate torte, delighted BMW i Pure Impulse members from the US and Austria during a member’s dinner at three Michelin-starred restaurant Per Se.
From the restaurant’s stunning views of Columbus Circle and Central Park, its trademark blue doors, which mirror those of its sister restaurant The French Laundry in California, to its refined, Parisian-inspired private dining room, guests were treated to the perfect ambiance in addition to the inspiring menu.
The evening kicked off with a champagne and canapé reception, before guests, including Head of Purchasing for BMW of North America, Georg Sattler, were ushered to The West Room.
The dinner was preceded by a presentation by chef Daniel Boccuzzi, who elaborated on the forthcoming dining experience and Per Se’s dedication to the finest-quality ingredients, excellent preparation and dedication to working with the best suppliers possible.
At the end of the evening, guests were gifted a signed copy of Thomas Keller’s The French Laundry Cookbook with 150 of the iconic restaurant’s recipes as a reminder of their haute-cuisine dining experience.
