Time to head back to school! Fun is king at the BMW Performance Driving Schools in California and South Carolina. You’ll get to test some of the newest BMW models as you learn to drive safer and master a range of difficult manoeuvres with ease. The BMW Performance Centers are divided into various schools – each tailored to a different kind of student – offering one- or two-day classes led by experienced instructors. Teenagers are invited to kick-start their motorised future at the Teen School; the Adult Car Control School teaches all the tips and tricks you need for a better driving experience and more confidence on the streets. The M School is all about dynamic driving – the curriculum, for example, includes drift training as well as braking and lane changes at maximum speed. Both performance centres offer one- or two-hour training sessions that give insights into the lengthier full-day events, so you can choose one that suits your schedule.
During this training day, teenagers gain valuable driving experiences, engage their senses and push through their comfort zone. Vehicle handling, quick judgment and accident-avoidance skills are developed in a controlled environment with a BMW-certified instructor observing and coaching via radio. Each vehicle is shared between two students who face real-world driving conditions and scenarios such as emergency braking, lane changes, distracted driving and more.

More horsepower. More performance. More finesse. M cars are the zenith of BMW. Learn the theory, physics and mechanics of performance driving. M School builds confidence and consistency while perfecting control, handling, acceleration and braking technique.
This two-hour experience lets you test out many of the vehicles from the Performance Centers. THE HIDDEN CORNERS OF THE FORMER FRENCH CONCESSION.
Shanghai’s French Concession was once the city’s most elegant place to live. Aside from the French community, rich Chinese trading clans as well as wealthy merchants from all over the world used to reside here. Elegant art deco buildings, former mansions of the high society and lane-house-style dwellings, so-called “Lilongs”, are waiting to be explored.
A walk through the secret alleyways of the former French Concession will conjure up the spirit of colonial times. You’ll learn all about celebrities and where they used to live, work and play. It was also in this area that Shanghai’s underground scene started to thrive. The Canidrome – the former dog racecourse – was once the centre of gambling, along with brothels, opium dens, bars and eateries. The Green Gang, together with their mafia bosses and high-ranking politicians, ruled this place of decadence.
During this tour, you’ll discover the different faces of the former French Concession, relax with a nice lunch at one of the many hidden restaurants, and visit one of the most successful commercial hubs in China.
Experience Shanghai from a different perspective with an exclusive six-hour guided tour. You will be picked up at your hotel and taken on a discovery tour, covering all the must-see spots and hidden gems.
You will see the Old Town, the Bund from above, People’s Square from all angles, the former French Concession and the international settlement – playgrounds of Shanghai’s colonial high society, an art deco slaughterhouse that was repurposed, as well as hidden alleyways and modern architecture.
For lunch, enjoy authentic Chinese food and learn all about the eight main cuisines of China and their nuances. You will see and taste different styles of culinary traditions. All your senses will be engaged during this tour.
