Thirty-five BMW i Pure Impulse members were among the first guests to enjoy a meal at Matsuhisa Munich, the first German restaurant of world-renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa, on the evening of Saturday, 21 November.

The launch of Charge+, a new pillar of the BMW i Pure Impulse Programme, meant that the event at the recently opened restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich was a double celebration.

The evening started over cocktails at BAR31, another brand-new venue at the hotel. Head mixologist Doreen Philipp treated guests to a special sake tasting to introduce them to the Japanese culinary delights ahead.

At the restaurant upstairs, guests were personally welcomed by the Mandarin Oriental’s General Manager Wolfgang Greiner. Henrik Wenders, Vice President BMW i Product Management, explained the concept behind Charge+, a new privilege exclusively available to BMW i Pure Impulse members* and expressed his pleasure at securing the Mandarin Oriental Munich as a partner for the programme.

A delectable seven-course menu with finely judged wine pairings followed. Chef De Cuisine Loris Di Santo was there to introduce guests to the individual dishes, which included Nobu signature dishes such as the new style sashimi and the miso-marinated black cod.

Members received a thoughtful gift of special Nobu chopsticks as a reminder of a memorable evening full of culinary highlights.

BMW i Charge+ is a new privilege exclusively available for BMW i Pure Impulse members. You will have the opportunity to enjoy special privileges while charging your car.
