INNOVATIVE SATOYAMA CUISINE.

TOKYO, JAPAN. 18 JANUARY 2020.

Two-Michelin-starred restaurant Narisawa invites BMW i Pure Impulse members on an unforgettable culinary journey. Savour culinary delights created from organic, seasonally-changing ingredients that are being prepared following a philosophy that was inspired by the wisdom and traditions of Japan’s ancestors.

Chef Yoshihiro Narisawa, who initially learned his trade in some of Europe’s most renowned kitchens, moved to his current Tokyo-based venue in 2003, taking inspiration from the harmonious link between people and environment, coining his own style of cuisine – known as Innovative Satoyama – and helming one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

His culinary style draws on the rich culture of the Satoyama, the spaces of forests and seas where people cultivate the land, living hand-in-hand with nature and taking only the most necessary resources from the earth. The result: beneficial and sustainable gastronomy.

Cocooned within Narisawa’s clean, calming, polished interiors, BMW i Pure Impulse members will savour a stunning epicurean experience at this exclusive dinner, reaching the upper echelons of innovative Japanese cuisine with one of the country’s most recognised exponents.

The event includes the following benefits:

  • Welcome reception followed by a lavish dinner with accompanying drinks at the two Michelin-starred Narisawa restaurant for one BMW i Pure Impulse member and one accompanying guest on 18 January 2020
