Glittering snow, authentic Swiss hospitality and a once-in-a-lifetime BMW i8 winter driving experience – in February, BMW i Pure Impulse members were treated to a VIP three-day experience centred around the traditional White Turf horse races, which are run annually on the frozen St. Moritz lake since 1907.

Guests arrived on Friday evening at the luxurious Kulm Hotel in St Moritz in time for welcome drinks and dinner at the hotel’s exclusive “K” restaurant. The next morning a helicopter transfer took them to the Flüelapass, which was opened up specially to create a unique winter driving experience for the BMW i Pure Impulse members.

There, driving instructors delivered a lesson in snow and ice racing with BMW i8s brought over from Germany. The evening ended with an authentic Swiss cheese fondue at the Alp-Schaukäserei Morteratsch.

Guests experienced the unique atmosphere of race day on Sunday from the balcony of the BMW VIP tent, which offered a great view of the horses and riders flying past on the ice.
