BMW i PURE IMPULSE CULINARY SERIES: A SUSTAINABLE BREW.
EUROPE. ONLINE. 29 JANUARY 2021.
Join us for the second instalment of the BMW i Pure Impulse Culinary Series as we head to Norfolk, England, for an online craft-beer tasting and expert talk on sustainable beer-making.
You will be joined by the owners of Duration Brewing, Miranda Hudson and Derek Bates, whose creations you will be sampling during the course of the evening. Alongside them will be beer sommelier and author Natalya Watson and sommelier and BMW i Pure Impulse favourite Nils Lackner, who will take you through the tasting part of the evening.
While you sip on a selection of their finest brews, Hudson and Bates – hailing from London and South Carolina respectively – will share the story of Duration Brewing and its sustainable approach, including equipment built for consistent sustainable efficiencies to produce purposefully balanced beers. The award-winning brewery sits among ancient woodlands midway along the Nar Valley Pilgrim Trail, in the ruins of an old priory by the banks of a chalk river. Duration’s process and creations take inspiration from and pay homage to the area’s unique terroir and produce.
During this fun and entertaining evening, you will also hear from Natalya Watson, the founder of Virtual Beer School and host of podcast Beer with Nat, who will talk about the evolution of craft beer and give you insights into the world of beer. You will also receive a signed copy of her debut book, Beer: Taste the Evolution in 50 Styles.
The event includes the following benefits:
- An online beer tasting from the comfort of your home on 29 January 2021, 8pm CET, (7pm GMT)
